Hundred-Year Daylight

Hundred-Year Daylight is a video made during Jiménez's residency in Fljótstunga that focuses on the subjective experience of 4 artist not native to the land, and the 24 hour daylight observed in the summer months of Iceland. It is an exploration of the stagnant notion of time past, present and future in the isolated regions of Iceland. This video was made in the Vesturland region in the land of Fljótstunga, and includes the voices of Spanish Artist Sabela Eiriz, Irish Artist Caoimhe Friel, Polish Artist Piotr Peszat and Clotilde Jiménez himself which together help cultivate a genuine human consciousness of our collective experience.

Special thanks to Halldór Hei∂ar Bjarnason & Lilián Pineda De Ávila of the Fljótstunga Artist Residency.
